Named after its appearance and urban myth, Yongdu-am is told to look like a dragon’s head. Because of this myth and the fact that it is close by the city, it is one of the most popular touristic destinations in Jeju. According to the urban myth this rock is a dragon that could not fly to the sky and fell down to the earth, becoming a rock.
Ihotaewoo beach is well known to be the closest beach from the city, which is about 7km. The beach itself is not so large with about 250m length and 120 width; but because of its location and convenience of transportation, lots of tourists are visiting every year.

Pork from black pigs is one of Jeju's most renowned specialties and a favorite among visitors. Black Pork Street, as its name suggests, is full of restaurants specializing in this local delight. It is located in Chilseong-ro, Jeju's most famous shopping district, and close to other tourist attractions such as Dongmun Market and Tap-dong Square.
